Robert Lindgren brings a passion to his work as Political and Organizing Director for the Colorado AFL-CIO. He grew up in Lakewood and graduated from Arvada High School - current home of a cutting edge Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program that gives students a chance to have hands-on experience in electrical, plumbling, HVAC, construction, pipefitting and other trades. He graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2005 and was introduced to political organizing in 2008 with the fight against Amendment 47. He worked for several year at Colorado WINS - Local 1876, the state employees union. While at WINS he worked to improve the lives of hard working state employees by making their concerns known at the worksite and the Colorado State capitol.
