Stand With Workers Rally

Governor Polis vetoed three bills that would have protected Colorado workers: 

• HB 1008: prevented wage theft.
• HB 1260: prevented employers from retaliating against workers for not listening to political or religious speech.
• HB 1307: ensured that high-road contractors complete HVAC improvement projects in Colorado and ensured that those schools get the grants they need.

In doing so, Governor Polis sided with corporate lobbyists and failed Colorado workers.

This is a crucial moment for the Colorado labor movement.  We call on all union members and our allies to join us on the west steps of the capitol at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 23!
