Boulder Minimum Wage Raised

With more than 45 out of ~50 testimonies in favor of raising the wage, Boulder City Council voted on Oct 10th to raise the minimum wage for the city over the next three years, starting 2025 and ending 2027. With immense efforts and dedication from the citizens of Boulder, labor unions, community organizations, faith based organizations and more, minimum wage workers in Boulder will see an 8% increase in their wages each year! 

With this movement from the city, it is likely we will see other cities within Boulder County make moves on raising the wage;  a big thank you to the city council members for making such an influential move that will put money into the hands of working people. Our efforts to help working people will continue and our fight to raise the wage goes on, but this is an incredible step forward.
